RCC Sheet Metal Worker Apprenticeship Applications Open (May 1 – May 18) – Day 1

RCC will be accepting applications to apply for their Sheet Metal Worker Apprenticeship (JATC 5006).  Applications may be picked up (you can complete them on-site also) during the weekdays (May 1 – May 18) from 9 am – 4 pm at:

Rogue Community College, 7800 Pacific Avenue, Room 159, White City, OR 97503

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older (must provide nonreturnable proof)
  2. EDUCATION: Must document proof of high school graduation or GED Certificate completion (must provide nonreturnable proof of high school diploma/transcript or GED Certificate).
    1. NOTE: Applicants must submit nonreturnable high school diploma and transcripts, college placement test results or GED information and high school transcripts as noted above. Documentation proving education must be submitted no later than May 24, 2023 at 4:00 PM.
  3. MATH: Must have completed one year of high school algebra or equivalent post-high school algebra course(s) with at least a grade of “C” OR have community college placement test results OR a WorkKeys Assessments as evidenced by an Oregon National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) with Silver level or higher … you must provide proof, transcript, placement test, etc.  To learn more about the NCRC and take the free test, visit the WSRV NCRC website.
